I've only got the small pack atm, but I shall earn a heavy one eventually.

I'll use the small one for a while... I'll probably end up getting the large; heavy is waaaay too much grind.

Question: can these packs be sold?

Bought the small one. Now i'll just stash all my coins until I have enough to get the Heavy one.

Bought the smallest ones to start, I will eventually graduate a few toons to the 15 or 10 slot ones. The grind for the 5 extra spaces is not worth it imho. I've survived this far without any bonus space, and 3x as much time for 5 extra slots is definitely not worth it imho

Once I get back online (I can access Guru, but unfortunately I've been w/o a high-speed connection for almost a month now... ugh) I'll be buying the small packs for all of my characters (my mules are just my underplayed professions, lol) and I'll save up for the Heavy pack for my Warrior (main); As is, his weapons alone (not counting shields or Armor Sets) take up a full page in my Xunlai Storage.

After that, I'll start saving up for the Heavy pack on my other characters. Until then, small for everyone.

Eh, I'll wait to see what my rate of z-coins is first before making any definitive judgement calls. It will kinda be a cost benefit analysis. You get more slots buying 2 medium and spreading stuff over a couple of characters then getting 1 heavy for the same price.

seeing as my main account is full I had some thinking to do about this.

my 4 main characters will all get the heavy (eventually) since they all have 5 sets of elite armors (cant seem to salvage them......I get really close).
my 2 2ndary ...one will get heavy the other light
my tertiary 8 are mostly large....and then the last few light.

when the main ones get the new one their old bag will go onto mules who carry lots of stupid weapons I cant seem to merch or salvage either

(I AM a rat--packrat ya'know)

Using smalls, I'll do the quests when I feel like they're worth my time and accumulate coins, then we'll see what I get. I want a heavy on my warrior and assassin, but I don't have 2 months straight to grind for them. Here's to hoping they'll sell for a reasonable price when people start getting them. Unlikely.

Probably large , should be fine for my regular spare armour pieces and 5 or 6 bows i usually carry. Seems to offer the best cost/size benefit to me.

All my other armour sets are on my 2 armour mules and wouldnt fit in heavy bag anyway

You need 7500 copper coins for a heavy pack. Its not like its the easiest thing to get.
There are also many minor inconvinient issues that can get in your way like:
*overcrowded pvp areas, AB,FA,JQ for example are completly full and takes at least 20-30 minutes to get into a match, and the odds of you actually win are smaller then in TA, GvG or the pve-related zquest because you will not know at least 8 members of your side. So its not like the rest that you can gather a team full od good players and guarantee your victory (or at least know the odds). As a personal experience, it took me quiet a while to get the bonus of 6 victories at AB considreing the wait time and the win/lose rate.
*unable to transfer zcoins to your other characters. I belive that a.net's approach of limiting the zcoins to a single character went against the players who enjoys having several characters. While at some cases the player who has several character could use his toons to collect several zcoins a day if we were able to transfer them, the player seeking variety is losing the fun aspect of the game.
For example at the pvp missions you are limiting the player to use only pve characters, this obviously cuts down the possibility of players creating a pvp template to use a certain build and get the reward. There are many cases that this limitation disturbs the gaming experience, let us not be fools to think that every player has every outpost with every character, there are many players that do not have all the missions in tyria, all the missions at the nightfall.

This is reflecting just like the title run, player are stuck with only one character and will have to play only with one for a while to get the big rewards (the new bags, tomes etc).

I belive we should give more options to the players instead of more limitations.
But not the option of trading it, this would interfere with the economy and would generate many other problems that we can easly think of and other that we cant yet see.

I'm going to wait until people grind their butts off and get Heavy ones and put them up for sale, then I'm just going to buy them for all my chars. Not doing all this grind crap.

Most of my characters have several sets of armour 2-4 and a variety of weapons. I'd like to get heavy packs for all of them, but if I have to grind up 7500 copper coins for each of them, not likely that's going to happen.

So far I bought a small (5) one for my monk but that's because she desperately needed some space.

Just small equipment packs because I have no need for storage since I have completed all campaigns as they were released. Storage now means nothing.

I got the Small for Shayne, because he only had one extra set of armor taking up storage elsewhere. Only a few of my other players are like that, and maybe in the future, I'll move everyone up to Light. I don't think that many of my characters ever will carry so many armors and weapons that they'll need much more than that.

Probably a light or large, or maybe neither. I'm not a crazy armor person.

I will go for the heavy pack.

Realistically, I am not sure if I will get at least one before I got bored to hell or GW2 is out.
I guess most people will buy a small one, it will take some time before even very active players get something larger.

I don't plan on doing the dailies, unless it's something I REALLY want to do.
So, I'll be getting the packs that I can buy - either from NPCs or people.

QFT!

What can I say? I have 14 characters and I love collecting elite armours. I am not going to settle for smaller packs because most of my characters will end up with 5 elite armour sets. I have 46 now on my account and since GW2 will be a while still it won't stop there. Also as there will be more content updates every 3 months there may be new gear in the future. In the end I've played too long and got too much to bother with the smaller packs. I mean for people who don't really care about armours or getting a lot of stuff smaller packs may be more interesting. But let's be honest, if it wasn't such a drag to get them, everybody would go for the biggest one, because the extra space can always come in handy.
